Offseason Training Tips for Golfers

Today I wanted to share an important video for all of you (like me) who don’t live in a place suitable for “year round golf”

Sure, we were blessed with a mild winter in most places of the U.S.

(My local course was actually open most of Christmas week for the first time in a while)

BUT…

We’ve got some storms coming through the states

AND

Golfing in the cold isn’t as fun when your balls start bouncing like ping pong balls on the near frozen grass 😂

SO be sure to check out this video if you’re looking to keep your golf game up before next season (or your next golf trip 😉)

Golf Simulators vs Golf VIDEO GAMES

So like I said in today’s tip about getting to the golf range for those who live in conditions…

“not suitable for golf”

Getting practice and enjoying our favorite pass time in the off season can be very difficult (but not impossible).

That’s why we’ve done so much coverage on golf simulators.

💯 They help us get to the greens even when the greens aren’t exactly “green”.

👀 Along with being just really cool of course.

Just like there’s different degrees of golf courses though, there also seems to be different ways to get a “golf simulator”

Now, I understand paying $10,000+ for a golf simulator is a stretch.

And that price tag doesn’t even cover the space a golf simulator would take up.

However…

I don’t think paying $299 for this is worth the price tag either.

(If you have one like this though I’d love to have my mind changed if you like it)

Regardless of that though, I understand technology to.

Maybe this is just the first iteration and like Meta and VR goggles the near future is going to completely change the space.

With Tiger Woods’ “stadium style” league coming soon I see this especially being true as more money and interest keeps going towards it.

This could mean the majority of us who don’t have big simulators in their basements could reap the benefits of both realistic and entertaining golf at home.
