More Exercises to Look Good On and Off the Greens

This last week we gave you all a few exercises to try to get ready for this next weekend.

And in case you don’t already know…

This next weekend is going to be a BUSY WEEKEND on the greens.

The reason??

It’s because everyone is going to be trying to recover from losing their bets during March Madness by betting on the golf course.

And in case you didn’t already know that…

I’m totally making that up 😂

HOWEVER, with the consistent warm weather coming in we are definitely going to need to get those muscles back into shape!!

#1 Train For Strength NOT for Looks. When you go to the gym for whatever reason, to golf better or just be better, it’s essential you never forget why you’re there. If you’re training to golf better you can still have a killer workout. It doesn’t mean you’re taking a day off. Working the full body and not just for big biceps and chest will help you get a great workout AND a great game.

#2 Go to the gym with a gameplan. When you go to the gym having an exact plan for what exercises you’re hitting and keeping track of week-to-week progress not only increases your results but also the likelihood of you going to the gym. There’s nothing worse than going to the gym and realizing you have no idea what you’re doing. Gabe Caldwell also has great workout plans for this.

#3 Not all “Workouts” Involve Weights. Sometimes the best way you can improve your game and body is by doing exercises to increase mobility and flexibility. Doing free weight exercises helps to increase explosiveness and reduces the load on joints. Not to mention, they’re a killer workout.

UPDATE: Tiger Woods’ NEW Golf League Delayed Another Year

This isn’t the first time we’re writing about Tiger Woods’ NEW Indoor Golf Facility and League he’s created.

And, this isn’t the first time he’s had to push back the opening to his league either.

But this latest push might be worse than simple minor construction scheduling.

You see, most buildings have those things called “roofs”….

So if you’re having a hard time with unexpected Spring Storms ruining your tee-time…

I think we should all take a moment to count our blessings.

We just hope this isn’t going to be something that sits at the back of his mind during this next Masters Tournament.

While I know I’ve also made mention already how I don’t want to overreport on Tiger Woods and not give enough to others, I also love seeing him do well again.

Of course Forbes,

(On top of reporting his roof collapse)

Also let us know he’s the 16th richest athlete in 2024 so he’s clearly good in the financial department.

But hey, I grew up watching that guy.

Time will only tell who the next big face of golf will be 👀

NBC Sports has made some interesting predictions on who that could be this next year but only time will tell.

My money is on Tom Kim or Nick Dunlap, let us know yours down below!!

Trivia Answer:

Golf was banned not only once but three times in Scotland between the years of 1457 and 1744.

That’s because the government believed it interfered with military training.
