What You Learn From a Lesson with Tiger Woods’ Ex-Coach
Today’s tip comes from a video from the Me And My Golf YT Channel and I want to highlight 3 key things that will be very useful to those…
✅ Trying to improve their game
And ESPECIALLY…
✅ Those who are wanting to get (or have) in-person golf training
#1 Know what you’re working on. The first thing Sean Foley, Tiger’s Ex-Coach, talks about is being sure to communicate what you want to get better at. The way he talks about “getting better” is interesting. You see, it’s not just getting better at your driver, or your chipping, or even keeping your head down that he talks about. He goes DEEP into asking his students if they’re over gripping the club and even optimizing launch or spin on their shots.
#2 Always go for LOW-hanging fruit. Getting better at golf is ridiculously simple. It’s all about seeing where you are making the most mistakes and finding the missing link to cut those out of your game completely. All that matter is the number on the score card after all.
#3 Use your TRAIL ARM more. This one was the most surprising to me and I highly recommend you to watch it for yourself HERE. Basically if you want more power and accuracy with your irons, the more you use that back arm the better you hit. I haven’t tried this one out on the greens quite yet, been with family since I learned about it, but if you have 10-minutes to watch that clip I think you’ll notice a HUGE change in your game.

PGA vs LIV: Christmas with the “Golf-In Laws”
In case you forgot…
PGA and LIV Golf entered into an agreement on joining forces just 6 months ago.
Now, the reason you probably forgot is because basically nothing was done with the “agreement”.
So in case you felt awkward with your in-laws this weekend at Christmas, you weren’t alone.
The two executive boards of these, insanely large, golf organizations likely are talking behind closed doors about their discontent like one of my personal favorite Christmas flicks:
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacations.
And just like cousin Eddie’s famous line…
(Or at least famous in our house 😂)
The deal between both parties has become full of 💩💩💩
If you want a more in-depth analysis of the deal and what has been going on with it ever since be sure to check out the recap here
